Yes it’s done, In Flash CS5, you can export you as3 coded application into a native iPhone application. You just have to add a little tracking code, and then you can access for free the stats : How many percent are using this device (brand, device, network, countries)
So finally the website is building some stats based on Traffic from mobile phones to websites (desktop and mobile)
